Before you measure

Body measurements only

Have your pet stand naturally. Use a soft tape, touching the body gently without squeezing. Enter the actual measurement in centimetres.

Do not add wearing room or subtract length. We decide the extra room and finished garment measurements for each style and fabric.

Follow this guide with English narration and captions to measure your pet’s body. Send the actual measurements without adding wearing room or subtracting length. Elsamilu will determine the finished garment measurements for the style and fabric.

Neck: measure around the base of the neck where the garment neckline sits, without adding looseness.
Chest: measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, with no extra room added.
Back: measure along the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Report the full measured length without subtracting any length.
Front leg (optional): measure from where the front leg meets the body down to the paw, as shown in the video. Send the full leg length, not a desired sleeve length. If unsure about the starting point, leave this blank and tell us in your notes.

Wearing room is a design allowance. Handmade measurement tolerance is separate and will be explained in your quote.

A quote before you commit

We will review your measurements, choose the appropriate wearing room, and quote the garment, custom-size fee, delivery and applicable tax. On the payment page, you confirm the exact quote and authorize production when you submit your payment.

Custom-size production is usually around four weeks from receiving your measurements. Your quote will give a specific expected ready date; delivery time is additional. Once payment is verified, we can arrange production using your confirmed details. No further customer confirmation is required after payment.

No payment now. We will email you a request confirmation and notify you when your quote is ready. On the next page, also save your private request link. Please check your spam folder if an email does not arrive.
